Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Angela moved to Charlotte in 2011. She’s a Navy vet, and currently serving in the Navy Reserves. After her last deployment, and moving to NC, she was wanted a skill she could take with her anywhere. In 2013, her fascination with the human body led her to Massage Therapy. She attended southeastern institute, where she graduated top of her class.
Angela’s massage journey has brought her all over the US, Thailand, and back. Her studies include; Swedish, Deep Tissue, NMT, MFR, Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Foot Massage, and Cupping. Her path has evolved into an East meets West vibe, customizing each session to meet the intentions of the client, and help facilitate balance in the body.
Kirsten Summa is a Licensed Massage Therapist who studied at The Swedish Institute in New York City. After graduating and receiving her New York State License she continued her education in Bangkok, Thailand where she became certified in General Thai Massage and Thai Foot Massage at the world famous WatPo Traditional School of Medicine. She then returned back to New York City and opened up her own practice on July 16th, 2009. She uses her knowledge in both Eastern and Western medicine to help achieve the client’s goal for healing. She uses techniques such as corrective therapy, deep tissue, acupressure, aromatherapy, strength training, cupping therapy, and stretching.
For nine years she worked primarily on clients with neurological conditions, as well as sports athletes. In 2012 Kirsten finished continuing her education in nutrition and in 2018 completed achieving her certification in personal training. As of 2019, Kirsten reached requirements to get a license in the state of North Carolina. As a triple threat with knowledge of massage, nutrition, and exercise training, she looks forward to helping clients not only achieve their goals but feel great along the way.
